Dorian Florez Zuleta
is a Colombian artist of birth, known in Europe for his talent as a draftsman and painter.
He was born in Caldas in the Department of Antioquia, in 1960. In 1982, he decided to travel to Europe to study Psychology at the University of Paris, where sucessivamente, graduated. He embarked on a profession that not only allowed him to be able to work and travel to different parts of the world, but also has allowed him to develop and apply new theories. to the aid of human problems. One of these in 1994 in his study of Italian Saluzzo, the helpful and applied together with the 'Art therapy as support for refugee children from Kosovo and the wars of Yugoslavia.
His love for art was born at an early age, when he was in elementary school, where teachers have already noticed his ability to paint and spurred him to cultivate this art. Finding fertile ground around him, he pursued with tenacity and love this path until you reach in Europe. The Old Continent, which had always dreamed of visiting, a land with its admired painters and the immense and historical works of art. Works for him were a great source of study and inspiration. Alongside its social, Dorian between art great personal satisfaction, not only for the quality achieved in his works, but also because of the side that has been established with his profession, believing that the Psychology el 'Art have much in common, as well as human behavior and cognitive aspects that surround man. His work has been recognized with two awards: Art in Saluzzo, critically acclaimed local Italian, versions 1999 and 2000, with a highly conceptual work.
He currently lives in Colombia. Work with the House of Culture of the City of Caldas, as Coordinator of the Visual Arts and the workshop sovraitendendo the activities carried out in it.
